Aurora Aksnes is Aurora Aksnes is a Norwegian Singer and Songwriter. She was born in Stavanger on June 15th, 1996. She's professionally referred to as Aurora. The name of her can be also stylized as AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves was released by the label Decca Records in May 2015 receiving great approval by music journalists and media. The artist has made two covers that have been viewed by the world's media: Half the World Away by Oasis. Oasis in a commercial for Christmas from John Lewis and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole. She gained some further recognition through a tweet from Katy Perry where Perry endorsed her song Runaway. Honor her day. Aurora Aksnes earliest musical memory is the discovery of the piano she had in her attic and becoming fascinated by the music it could create. Jan Oystein Aksnes and May-Britt Aksnes encouraged Aurora to take up music not to get work or as hobby but in order to grow. To do this, she began writing new compositions.
